Location is fantastic!

We had a lovely stay with our grandchild. The room was modern and fresh. The beach access made for some fantastic family fun. The price was right too, making it a wonderful getaway for us all.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options nearby.

i had a fantastic stay at silver surf motel! the room was super spacious, clean, and the bed was the most comfortable i've ever slept on while traveling. it's also just a short drive to hearst castle and big sur, which was perfect. the indoor heated pool was a nice bonus for relaxation!

fantastic beach access and close to elephant seal viewing

I really enjoyed how the hotel was just a short 500 meters from the beach, making it super convenient for my evening strolls, and I also loved being only a 5-minute drive from the elephant seal viewing area which was an incredible experience. As a single traveler, I appreciated the spacious accommodations and comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby landmarks.

Single travelers should consider it

The room had a nice big television and also a ceiling fan help keep me cool. The grass area outside my room was a nice touch, perfect to relax and unwind after a long day.

Wasn't exactly the cheapest I've seen but for what I got, it was still reasonable.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with a convenient location near the beach and free Wi-Fi in rooms, which made our stay very enjoyable.

I enjoyed my stay at Silver Surf Motel, where the clean, comfortable room offered a stunning view. Despite a minor issue with noisy neighbors, the serene atmosphere made it worthwhile. The location is fantastic, close to Hearst Castle and beautiful beaches. I will certainly return!

Enjoyed exploring Hearst Castle and bouncing around the local beaches. The pool looked fun, though we didn’t dive in. It’s a solid spot for a night with spacious and clean rooms, just be prepared for some highway noise if you’re on the lower floor.

One thing that was a bit of a downer was the lack of air conditioning. While we managed with open windows, the highway sounds were noticeable. Just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to noise.

Room was spacious and clean. Equipped with a microwave and a fridge that was bigger than your usual mini-fridge. Enjoyed the comfy bed, and bathroom had a modern touch. Close to Hearst Castle and beach access. Several awesome restaurants within walking distance. The staff was super friendly and kept the grounds well-maintained. Would stay again!

Clean, comfortable room offering stunning views, just a few minutes from the beach. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Unfortunately, a noisy neighbor disrupted the first night of our stay. We also missed out on trying the delicious buttery croissants in the morning. Despite these hiccups, the excellent location and warm service make this a place I would happily return to.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, a hot tub, and a welcoming 24-hour reception. I still remember how the staff helped me find a phone charger on my first stay. I highly recommend it!
